What is your educational experience?

I have been a Headteacher for the past seven years and have led an under-performing school to its first ever Good Ofsted rating. We are the first Primary School in the UK to win the Princess Royal Training Award for CPD.

Can you tell me a bit about yourself and what motivates you?

Promoting quality learning experiences is what motivates me – everyone is a learner and a leader (pupils and teachers)! Every child should be able to access a quality education to develop their full potential.

What do you like doing outside of work?

I am currently studying a masters in the leadership of mental health in schools. I am also a trustee on the board of my daughter’s gymnastics academy - it is great to see the value of sports in children’s lives!
