Like most teachers, I am hard-working and love my job. It provides constant challenge, variety and laughter. I am motivated by any chance to improve my practise. As a result, I like to grab new opportunities and widen my experience within school.
I have a degree in Law and a PGCE in primary education. I worked for several years in London as a Probate Genealogist before deciding to retrain as a teacher. I started the PGCE in 2004, then worked for 7 years at an Outstanding Primary School in Chelmsford, followed by my current employment at Lyons Hall Primary School in Braintree.
As a primary school teacher I teach all subjects but particularly enjoy teaching Maths, Literacy and Science.
Outside of work I enjoy reading, visiting the cinema and the gym. I particularly love yoga. I love to travel and experience different places.
